A Class with Aesme Studio
A special collaborative class in celebration of Ally and Jess of London-based AESME Studio and the publication of their first book 'Naturalistic Flowers’. The class will be divided in two parts with guests building an arrangement in the morning, a bouquet in the afternoon. A light lunch will be served in between. The morning session will start with a discussion on design ethos and aesthetics served with coffee and pastries. Ally, Jess, and Taylor will then demonstrate how to implement these ideas into arrangements. Areas to be explored will include asymmetry, creating a colour story, layering contrasting textures, and using form to create depth. Guests will design and create their own arrangement in Fox Fodder’s favorite Campo Di Fiori pie-crust vase. The afternoon will focus on bouquets. After a demonstration and teaching of foundational techniques, class members will be guided in building their own bouquet. Seasonal materials for the class will be sourced from local farm partners and include specialty elements foraged and handpicked from Taylor's garden. Pastries, refreshments, light lunch, vases provided. Thursday 20th August. 10am-3pm *select "Pick Up" option when adding to cart
